New Student Luxury Housing Complex To Hold Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

(Binghamton, NY) Chenango Place, the all-new luxury student housing complex and retail space in the completely renovated historic Fair Store building along the Chenango River in Binghamton opened its doors to students at the start of the current semester. With new residents settled in, the developers of this fantastic new facility are hosting a Grand Opening Ribbon-Cutting this Tuesday evening, September 16th, beginning at 5:30p.m. Many area dignitaries and special guests will be on hand to herald the completion of this ambitious project. Chenango Place was the vision of two Binghamton University alumni, who saw great potential in the heart of a revitalized downtown.

One of the developers will speak about their shared passion for the project and the hard work involved in making it a reality. Binghamton Mayor, Rich David, Regional Representative for Governor Cuomo, Kara Grippen, and Director of Broome County Industrial Development Agency, Kevin McLaughlin will be on hand to speak about downtown’s newest success story.

‘This project was a large community effort. It took over four years to develop the property and included stakeholders from the private and public sectors. The project is a great story for upstate New York and how loyal New Yorkers can come together to contribute meaningfully to their communities’ said Mr. Bel discussing the multi-million dollar project.

Members of the local media are invited to attend.
